This is a key service that Neopatents provides to its clients. Invention Capture is the process of taking a loose idea and turning it into a full and accurate invention disclosure.

The Invention Capture process enhances the commercial value of a patent, and enables the client to see exactly what the patent would cover prior to committing the “big bucks” of the filing process. This process may be run in conjunction with or separately from the Patentability Search, although it is highly recommended that both be performed.

As an independent Patent Intelligence service provider, Neopatents is working for the benefit of its client, not to push them into filing a patent. In the event that new inventions are developed during the course of an engagement, the appropriate Spore employee or representative will become a co-inventor, with all rights to the invention assigned to the client.
