Dr. Sonnet Arlander has contributed to Neopatents' growth since 2007; first as a patent analyst, then as manager of life sciences analytics, and currently as director of patent analytics. She leads Neopatents' analytics team, managing staffing and project management and ensuring that all analytics meet the highest quality standards. She is gifted at seeing what needs to be addressed and creatively solving issues, and she applies this skill in her work with clients.

Sonnet has a solid foundation of credentials with her seven years of work in biomedical research. She performed a post-doctoral fellowship at the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences and earned a Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences from the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine. She holds a B.S. degree in Animal Science from Brigham Young University.

Sonnet has been published nearly a dozen times, with peer-reviewed articles in journals such as Cancer Research, Molecular Pharmacology and the Journal of Biochemical Chemistry.
